Removing Disney Reservations
Exciting news for Walt Disney World Resort visitors! Park reservation requirements have been eliminated for select guests, bringing flexibility and freedom to plan their theme park visits. The Park Reservation System
Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, Walt Disney World Resort implemented a Park Reservation system to manage crowd sizes and ensure the safety of guests. This system required visitors to book a reservation for the specific theme park they wished to visit in advance. While the reservations could be modified, availability was limited based on park capacity. This led to challenges during peak months, with guests unable to secure reservations for their desired park on certain days.
Early Removal of Park Reservations
Disney previously announced that Park Reservations would be discontinued for guests starting in 2024. However, it appears that select Disney Park visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy this perk ahead of schedule. Beginning May 23, 2023, guests can purchase the 4-day, 4-Park Magic Ticket for $99 per day plus tax ($396 total plus tax). What makes this ticket package particularly enticing is the fact that Park Reservations are not required.
Flexibility and Freedom
With the 4-day, 4-Park Magic Ticket, guests have the freedom to visit any of the four theme parks without having to pre-determine their choices. The ticket provides one day of admission to each park, allowing visitors to explore a different park on separate days. The best part is that guests can change their plans and choose the park they want to visit as late as the day of their visit. This level of flexibility is something Disney fans have been requesting, and the company has responded by providing a more convenient and spontaneous experience.
Important Ticket Details
While the 4-day, 4-Park Magic Ticket offers remarkable flexibility, it does have some blockout dates. The ticket is valid for admission from June 1, 2023, through September 29, 2023, with blockout dates from July 1 to July 4 and September 1 to September 4, 2023. Guests must use the ticket within seven days of its first use or by September 29, 2023, whichever comes first. Apart from these requirements, ticket holders have complete freedom to plan their visits based on their preferences.
