Disability Access Service DAS Pass at Disney World

Top Things to Know About Disney’s Disability Access Service (DAS)

Disney’s Disability Access Service (DAS) is specifically designed to assist Guests who face challenges with enduring long waits in traditional queue environments due to a disability.

Unlike providing immediate access to attractions, DAS enables Guests to request a return time for a specific experience, similar to the current standby wait. This flexibility allows the Guest using DAS to explore other attractions in the park instead of physically waiting in the standby line.

It’s important to note that the Guest requesting to use DAS must be present during registration, whether in person or via live video call, as well as when redeeming a DAS return time at Walt Disney World theme parks. However, they do not need to be present when a return time is requested at an attraction or any Guest Relations location.

Once registered, DAS remains valid for up to 60 days.

Excitingly, the DAS program now offers two new features: the opportunity to pre-register via live video call and use DAS Advance pre-arrival planning, and a convenient method to receive DAS return times through the My Disney Experience app.

Additional Key Points to Consider:

  1. Live Disney chat is accessible from 7:00 AM – 10:00 PM Eastern Time.
  2. The video chat session cannot be recorded.
  3. To register, the Guest requesting DAS (or their parent/guardian) must be 18 years of age or older and must participate in the video call.
  4. If you haven’t logged into your Disney account, you will be prompted to do so. If you don’t have a Disney account, you will need to create one to proceed.
  5. The video chat feature is designed to be user-friendly for Guests with visual disabilities and is also available with text chat for Guests with hearing disabilities.
  6. Currently, live chat support is only available in English.LEARN MORE:  How to Get and Use your Disability Access Pass
